Pre-acquisition questions

Still have a question? Ask Engineering.

What do you need to prepare an estimate?

The property address and type, the purchase price under contract, the expected closing date, any planned improvements, and any plans or seller documents you have.

Who prepares it?

Engineering. Commercial estimates are held to a deeper investigation than other firms.

Does the estimate replace the study?

No. The estimate supports your underwriting. After closing, the engineered study produces the allocation and the fixed asset schedule for the return.

Is the deal kept confidential?

Yes. NDAs are available, and documents come in through a secure upload.
